Racial Equality Position Statement

Dear Friend of Quality Progressions, As a Non-Profit Supports Coordination Organization, Quality Progressions serves some of the most vulnerable individuals in Pennsylvania – the intellectually disabled and their families. Since 2004 we have supported over 3,000 individuals in achieving employment, participating in their local community, and making meaningful choices.

Following the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, Quality Progressions made a position statement in support of Racial Equality. It asked all of us to “be together, work together and become the change”. In response to that, the board of directors initiated a campaign to support Philabundance, the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization.

We are all aware of how extremely tough these unprecedented times are right now, every single one of us is affected. On the Black Lives Matter web page, under the heading “What we believe” this was included, “We intentionally build and nurture a beloved community that is bonded together through a beautiful struggle that is restorative, not depleting” By partnering with Philabundance and hosting a virtual food drive, we can bond with those in need and by touching their hearts – We will be together!

We’d love if you can make a donation to Quality Progressions’ Virtual Food Drive, supporting Philabundance and ensuring our neighbors have access to the food they need in the midst of this pandemic.

Here are the ways you can make a donation.
